I enjoyed the company, laughters and advices from my friends and fans there, and i just don't get it, why the biggest software company do copy the codes and design of the number one Microblogging service in asia, our PLURK. In fact, if they have the best developer in the world, they can make their own microblogging service without copying the codes and the worst, the design and template.

What is RAN Online?

RAN Online is an MMORPG with a unique premise. Players take on the roll of students in one of three rival universities and must compete with one another while surviving on campuses filled with possessed AI enemies. Unfortunately, the gameplay in Ran is not as original as the theme. The classes and combat style in the game are nearly identical to the standard fantasy MMORPGs currently available. Even though Ran Online has only recently resurfaced in the West, it has the disadvantage of being an older game and thus suffering from poor visuals and grind based progression.


Classes:

Shaman – These students use wands to channel the spiritual energy known as Qi to heal and buff their allies. Shamans may also specialize to use Spears.
Brawler - Melee fighters who have shunned all weapons in favor of unarmed combat.
Archer - Mastering the bow requires high agility and dexterity. Students may chose to use either the short bow or long bow.
Swordsman - Formidable warriors who must be both strong and agile. Swordsman can specialize in ‘blades’ or ‘broadswords.’

A green friendster.com was launched early this morning. Lots of feedback and shocking moments scattered all over the net, from twitter, plurk to facebook, all of them is shouting for this new move of Friendster. So why rebranding Friendster?

Friendster, Inc. is targeting Asian Youth particularly at Southeast Asia in which our country, Philippines is located. As reported by Friendster site, they are the leading website throughout the said continent with over 75 million registered users and over 90 percent of daily traffic coming from the specified region.

As everyone noticed, Friendster.com is now adapting the greener effect and color combination in their homepage. New logo is also noticed and most of all, the template or format in your profile looks like partly the same with Facebook especially the location of your message, application and other notifications links which can be seen under your profile picture.
