Does Bing surpasses Google? Coz it does with Yahoo!
Many reviews flash the net world which started on the launching day of Bing, Microsoft's revised search engine site, until this day. Some says Google still remain on top and some, Bing works the best.
But for my point of view both have the same features in the some way that the only difference is their respective presentation of the site.
Let set for example, the search for images. In Google, images are displayed in an ordered manner with label and source site below them while in Bing, images also are displayed well with no labels on them, but if you try to mouse over those images, you will see then the snapshot of these images with the file name, source site and others.
Image above differentiates more how the two search sites display their images results
In addition, Bing offers this kind of filtering or sorting the display according to size, layout, color, style and people. And so with Google images, you can let Google shows those images you want "by type or size" or "by type and size" and with their corresponding colors.

Other thing is, the Homepage display of each of these sites. In Bing, they usually changing the background image and obviously, promoting some area or location in the US. While in Google, as we used to it, they do some art with their name in the homepage that corresponds to the celebration or any significant event on that specific day.
Bing Vs Google Homepage Displays (i admit, Bing is cool!)
These observation are just few of the many reviews we can encounter in the web. And for sure, as a customer or user, we need to know what this specific site offers indifferently from its competitor, we need to know what are its new features that the other site doesn't have and most importantly, we need the data more accurately and sharp.
To view some of Bing and Google's trademark, let us see these reality.
With Google, bloggers are happy not just because their blogsites have the big possibility to be included in Google's SRP but because they earn from it with the help of Google. But the point is, Google is blogger friendly, they usually display sites from different blogs on which Bing doesn't even know about it.
Bing displays my blogsite at top 10 while Google displays it at top 4
On the other hand, Bing offers less advertisement which is very good for some ordinary users/people who found them very annoying.
If you are a fan of "search engine site battle", you may find this site very interesting, i usually uses this site everytime i do some comparative search, this site is called bing vs. google, its like another search engine site but the funny part, it will display search results in the page which is divided into two parts , the other one from Bing and Google in the other part.

Try it and tell me, Does Bing surpasses Google? or Google rocks!
Battle of Search Engines Continues
Monetizing The Pirate Bay
Global Gaming Factory (GGF) has paid 60m Kronor (£4.7m) to take over The Pirate Bay site. GGF's Hans Pandeya told BBC that they are going to do this attractive approach to beat illegal fire-sharing. And thus, they are willing to pay file-sharers by legally sharing content with others.
With this, all users who always used to download files freely will change their point of view of downloading since TPB will now be asking payment for every file download which is legally uploaded. Users can now then join some group of seeders who began seeding the specified file.
A seeder is someone who shares a file with others through peer-to-peer technology like the BitTorrent protocol used by files indexed on The Pirate Bay.
But what is the risk? Will, as we all know, internet users always want a free oriented services, meaning, there is a possibility that TPB will only have less number of customers and their investment will just go to waste...my thoughts!

FDA600: MMDA Gadget

Don't laugh! Yes, I'm talking about the Metro Manila Development Agency, on which Sec. Bayani Fernando leads the team. And this is not about the political side, i am pointing and clarifying what is that FDA600 gadget that the group boasted on because it can provide efficiency to MMDA agents on streets.
FDA600 Field Digital Assistant is one of those palm computers designed for the following computing applications:
This gadget can identify automatically the name of Driver and other related data by just barcoding its Driver's license. In addition, it has a built-in printer and some card readers with GSM/GPRS. Early next month, or more on July 8, these gadgets will be shipped going to Philippines and the next week of that day, there would be a dummy operation using the said gadget in Metro Manila.
And the question: Can this lessen corruption to these abusive MMDA Street agents?
Energy Software: Microsoft Vs. Google
What's up with Microsoft and Google? Do you think the competition is for vying the big market share in the internet search only? Then you are definitely wrong, after Google announced its PowerMeter, which reads information coming from a smart meter and displays it real-time on a web site (in short this is a web application), Microsoft has announced Tuesday their new internet software that would help consumers measure their electricity usage and thus, they can figure out how to cut it off.
The two giant companies have taken advantage the statement made by President Barack Obama that energy conservation will serve as priority of his administration. "Microsoft Hohm demonstrates how a combination of advanced software and Internet-based services can help people track, understand and manage their personal energy usage."Craig Mundie, chief research and strategy officer at Microsoft, said.
Microsoft Hohm will be launched by next week and the good thing, the service will be free for all consumers but to those users who have advanced utility meters and whose utilities sign up to use the system will get more accurate and useful information.
At the end of the day, everyone will still be part of this undertakings, save energy bills.

Google and Microsoft for Outlook Plugins
Google has built this what they call Google Apps Sync for Microsoft Outlook which is a very useful tool for users and business people to continue using some of their plugins even if they are now switching to Google Apps. In addition, the team focuses on allowing Outlook users to connect to Google Apps for business email, contacts and calendar. But the problem is, some users having plugins with their outlook cannot continue to work with the Google Apps Sync for Microsoft.
And Last Tuesday, Chris Vander Mey, Senior Product Manager, Google Apps, highlighted some of this unworkable plugins:
Programs that interact directly to outlook data file:
So far, Google Apps team is currently working with Microsoft and other partners for the resolution of these bugs.
